I studied Economics and Business Administration, but my heart always belonged to the world of fashion and self-expression. For me, fashion is more than just working with fabrics- it is my way of telling stories, discovering one’s identity, and weaving emotions into form. Styling comes naturally to me, as does my obsession with pieces that whisper trends and styles.
What grounds and guides my design journey is my country, Bhutan- with its pristine nature, spiritual rhythm, and the profound legacy of our textiles. There is something deeply sacred in the way our weavers work- with intention, patience, and heart. Bhutanese fabrics are a living art that deserves a global stage.
Nature is my muse. Ralph Lauren, with his romantic yet grounded sensibility, shaped my early idea of fashion. Through ME, I hope to honor the Bhutanese weavers, preserve the craft, and weave Bhutan’s essence into the larger story of fashion.
Over the last 16 years, I’ve explored many creative paths, from designing costumes for films like Sacho Gami Ga and Baeyul, to choreographing the Bhutanese Textile Fashion Show, writing movie scripts, poetry, and designing the interiors of Club Skydancer and Buzz Club.
My design language is a stylish, contemporary fusion rooted in tradition, evolving with the times, and created for both men and women.
While I’ve been honored with the Fresh Faces of PATA Award and the Arch of Europe Award for Quality and Innovation (Germany), my deepest wish is simple- to help put Bhutan on the map, as a place where meaningful, mindful fashion is born.

“Threads of Legacy” is a tribute to Bhutan’s rich weaving heritage, reimagined through a bold, modern lens. This collection blends traditional artistry with contemporary silhouettes to create chic, stylish, and wearable pieces for both men and women. Each design is a canvas of culture and creativity-relatable yet refined, artistic yet functional.
Rooted in heritage but made for today, my vision is to celebrate the soul of Bhutanese textiles while pushing boundaries through bold choices, unique details, and powerful storytelling. Fashion becomes not just clothing, but a living expression of identity! This collection bridges tradition and trend, transforming intricate handwoven textiles into bold, stylish pieces that speak to both heritage and individuality.
At its heart, the collection embraces a fun, artistic spirit-playful yet intentional. Flowing feminine silhouettes are sculpted with contemporary edge, allowing movement and elegance. Every piece is made to feel beautiful on the body, flattering across forms and backgrounds.
While deeply rooted in Bhutanese culture, these designs are globally wearable, meant to be embraced not just by locals, but by anyone drawn to authenticity, artistry, and style.
